Responsibilities
- Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify system enhancements, analyze and interpret code, and apply programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to resolve issues and support application systems.
- Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and security issues and perform testing and debugging.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and recommend and implement solutions independently with limited supervision.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies, and controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Good experience working with KNIME and SQL.
- Intermediate-level experience in applications development.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
