Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a consultative advisor who connects clients’ business challenges and goals to technology decisions.
- Proactively partner with sellers and shape opportunities upstream rather than waiting for sales involvement.
- Provide forward-looking guidance on enterprise networking trends and emerging technologies.
- Own the technical outcome of every assigned engagement.
- Lead discovery conversations and develop and present architecture proposals, business cases, and options analyses.
- Contribute to pipeline development and ensure appropriate technical engagement and pipeline attribution.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the technical and cultural voice of the region.
- Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders, including C-level executives, VPs, and directors.
Requirements
- At least eight years of experience providing consultative engineering services for organizations.
- Experience in presales, consulting, or customer-facing architecture roles.
- Expertise in data center networking, fabric design, leaf-spine architectures, interconnect, enterprise campus and branch networking, and WAN architecture.
- Experience with network automation and programmability using Python, Ansible, and intent-based networking platforms.
- Experience with firewall architecture, policy design, network segmentation, micro-segmentation, zero trust network access, SASE, and SSE.
- Familiarity with AI-enabling network infrastructure, high-performance fabrics, low-latency design, and connectivity for GPU cluster deployments.
- Experience with cloud networking and hybrid connectivity across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to network observability, AIOps, and intent-based management platforms.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or VMware by Broadcom.
- Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, NSE, or JNCIE are valued but not required.
- Strong experience designing technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
- Ability to lead discovery and positioning conversations with technical and business stakeholders and present architecture proposals, business cases, and options analyses.
- Track record of working with sales teams and contributing to pipeline development.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate with C-level executives, VPs, and directors.
- Ability to lead and mentor other engineers, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and manage multiple changing priorities.
