Base Salary
$100k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write APIs for dealer- and consumer-facing web and mobile flows.
- Design, develop, test, and implement efficient front-end and server-side solutions.
- Build secure, resilient, scalable, optimized, and documented applications.
- Migrate legacy applications to modern cloud-based architectures using GCP technologies.
- Act as a technical lead and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, and UI/UX designers on application features and support.
- Develop unit and API test suites and apply test-as-you-code practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- At least 7 years of experience building and maintaining complex enterprise web applications in microservice product architectures.
- In-depth experience with Angular, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, webhooks, messaging frameworks, Docker, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL or other relational databases, Azure Cosmos DB or Cassandra, Kafka, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience designing and implementing projects using GCP cloud computing technologies, databases, Redis, Istio, and multi-tenant and single-tenant architectures.
- Preferred experience developing and deploying AI agents.
- Preferred knowledge of continuous delivery tools and practices, including GitHub, Ready API, Terraform, and Tekton.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks, testing pyramids, unit testing, and API testing practices is preferred.
- Industry technical certifications are preferred.
