Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate core Java services within SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP API Management.
- Architect and implement Java-based microservices for SAP API Management and Integration Suite.
- Develop Python and Shell automation scripts for deployment pipelines.
- Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack.
- Define API security, governance, and lifecycle management with cross-functional teams.
- Implement CI/CD workflows using Jenkins or Concourse.
- Monitor application performance and availability using Dynatrace and other observability tools.
- Provide technical guidance on Cloud Foundry and DevOps practices to junior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot production issues in multi-cloud environments and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with strong Java development expertise.
- Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, and multi-cloud concepts.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform for configuration and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Business Accelerator Hub, and SAP API Management.
- Knowledge of Cloud Foundry, containerization, and basic DevOps principles.
- Experience with Dynatrace and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Concourse.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
