Base Salary
$155k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement features and projects requiring interaction with neighboring systems and teams.
- Contribute to and facilitate technical discussions and provide design and code review feedback.
- Support the team’s core infrastructure and platform needs using Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Chef.
- Automate manual tasks into more reliable systems.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical teammates.
- Help onboard and support new team members.
- Lead problem solving across diverse scopes with guidance from senior engineers.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of related development experience.
- Working knowledge of Go with a desire to deepen hands-on expertise.
- Exposure to AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Understanding of core engineering concepts and the ability to deliver well-scoped projects with senior guidance.
- Growing understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Ability to work across neighboring applications or services and collaborate with distributed teams across time zones.
- Preferred experience with Envoy, API gateways, Varnish, or VCL.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, empathy, and willingness to learn.
