Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated tests in Python using Robot Framework and Playwright for cloud connectors, the evaluation engine, REST APIs, and UI.
- Validate cloud security control logic end to end by provisioning intentionally misconfigured resources and investigating false positives and false negatives.
- Verify inventory accuracy across cloud accounts, regions, and resource types.
- Test real cloud API behaviors including pagination, eventual consistency, throttling, and insufficient-permission cases.
- Manage test environments involving Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Cassandra, and Kafka.
- Contribute to Jenkins and GitLab CI pipelines, debug failures, and participate in code reviews.
- Help evaluate the trustworthiness of AI- and LLM-assisted tooling for test-case generation and failure triage.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software automation testing.
- Strong Python and hands-on Robot Framework experience.
- Playwright or comparable UI automation experience.
- Experience testing SaaS applications and REST APIs.
- Working experience with at least one major cloud provider—AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI—including its APIs and IAM model.
- Strong debugging skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with multiple cloud providers, cloud security fundamentals, CIS Benchmarks, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AI/ML testing fundamentals, and testing AI/ML cloud services or data pipelines.
