Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops, application assessments, requirements gathering, and solution architecture for enterprise AMS opportunities.
- Develop target-state architectures, service delivery models, governance frameworks, transition plans, operational playbooks, SLA frameworks, KPI scorecards, and reporting structures.
- Create pricing models, effort estimates, TCO assessments, ROI analyses, profitability analyses, and resource utilization models.
- Lead technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and strategic pursuits, including solution narratives, executive summaries, operating models, and implementation roadmaps.
- Assess application portfolios and recommend modernization, rationalization, re-platforming, re-engineering, and cloud migration strategies.
- Collaborate with delivery teams on solution feasibility, transition planning, knowledge transfer, solution reviews, governance meetings, and deal handoffs.
- Contribute to AMS accelerators, reusable assets, proposal templates, service offerings, market intelligence, and industry-specific solutions.
- Mentor junior solution architects and presales consultants while supporting customer advisory and executive engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 10–15 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years in presales, solution architecture, consulting, or managed services.
- Experience designing and positioning large-scale Application Managed Services engagements.
- Proven success supporting enterprise pursuits, strategic deals, RFP responses, and deal wins through solution consulting and architecture leadership.
- Experience managing multi-tower engagements spanning application development, support, modernization, cloud, and operations.
- Strong executive presence, presentation, storytelling, workshop facilitation, consultative selling, customer advisory, commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification, AI/ML certifications, AI governance experience, Responsible AI framework experience, ITIL or service management framework exposure, GTM strategy or pricing experience, and experience with system integrators, consulting firms, or global delivery models.
