Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with architectural principles and development standards.
- Design solutions addressing performance, availability, security, supportability, and business functional requirements.
- Translate business and technical requirements into solutions with globally distributed partner teams.
- Develop Java microservices, APIs, data integration interfaces, and API test automation suites.
- Deliver solutions into production and provide support for live IT services.
- Drive cloud-first and DevOps automation strategies and engineering excellence for non-functional requirements.
- Work with technical stakeholders across multiple systems and mentor junior resources.
Requirements
- Experience with solution design and application development using Java 10+ and microservices, including functional interfaces and streams.
- Experience with Spring Boot, preferably in cloud-based deployments.
- Exposure to RDBMS technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or Postgres.
- Exposure to Docker, GCP, or OpenShift and hands-on Kubernetes experience with ConfigMaps, Secrets, HashiCorp Vault, and Helm Charts.
- Experience with Kafka, including Kafka Avro and partitioning concepts.
- Experience with NoSQL technologies including MongoDB and Postgres document models.
- Configuration-driven solution modeling mindset and banking domain exposure.
