Responsibilities
- Write Java code version 8 or higher.
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems with high availability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and perform testing.
- Investigate and resolve defects in test, acceptance, and production environments.
- Prepare for and participate in software component releases using automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and grow novice engineers.
Requirements
- Hold a University/Master degree in Information Technology.
- Have over 8 years of experience in the domain.
- Have relevant experience designing Java-based backend applications with Java EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Have experience with Cassandra, Oracle, and other database technologies.
- Have excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Experience with Kotlin or other JVM languages is a plus.
- Experience with Kafka, Tomcat, and Checkmarx is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, CI/CD, and code quality practices is expected.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is expected.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is expected.
- Experience in application and system security, network components and infrastructure, or financial application development is a plus.
