Base Salary
$155k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance web application features that support business goals and improve search visibility.
- Build fast, crawlable, accessible-to-search web pages with strong performance and user experience.
- Use Google Search Console and SEO tools to identify issues and convert opportunities into engineering work.
- Implement HTML metadata, structured data, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
- Set up SEO experiments and analytics instrumentation to measure impact.
- Build scalable SEO automation, reusable page templates, and integrations with marketing tools such as Webflow.
- Collaborate with growth, marketing, external SEO partners, and frontend engineers.
- Diagnose and resolve bugs, validate cross-browser and cross-device functionality, and conduct application testing.
- Explore new development tools, platforms, and AI-assisted workflows, and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing web applications with a JavaScript framework.
- Proficiency with optimized, reusable HTML and CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of web rendering, crawling, indexing, and SEO best practices.
- Experience with Google Search Console or comparable SEO tools.
- Experience with React and Next.js, including server-side rendering and static generation.
- Familiarity with REST API principles.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests and debugging reusable, testable, efficient code.
- A passion for learning current development tools and AI tools that can scale SEO work.
- Experience with Webflow or a similar CMS is preferred.
- Experience with A/B testing and analytics instrumentation is preferred.
- A BS or MS in computer science or a related field is preferred.
