Member of Technical Staff - Portworx CSI
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Develop, test, and integrate high-performance microservices and features into the Portworx product suite.
- Design and implement critical features for a secure SaaS platform supporting Portworx customers.
- Lead architectural design, code reviews, unit and functional testing, documentation, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering peers, and early-adopter customers to deliver production-ready software.
- Own feature stability, incorporate customer feedback, and resolve issues found during testing and deployment.
- Research cloud infrastructure tools and emerging technologies to improve software performance and capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade product components using Go, Java, or C++.
- Experience with microservices architecture, cloud deployments, and distributed-systems design.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and maintainable software engineering principles.
- Team-oriented communication and experience collaborating across functions.
- Hands-on Kubernetes and container experience is preferred, with Kubernetes Control Plane development as a plus.
- Experience with authentication and authorization frameworks, including SSO, LDAP, RBAC, and OAuth, is preferred.
- Experience with e-commerce marketplace integration, SaaS billing, usage reporting, telemetry systems, or public-facing SDKs is preferred.
