Base Salary
$152k - $393k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of technical solutions while managing quality and operational risks.
- Partner with customer technical leads, client executives, sales teams, and partners to deliver cloud solution implementations.
- Own end-to-end architecture from business requirements and conceptual design through delivery, production, and evolution.
- Set architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails while guiding engineering teams without direct authority.
- Manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks, timelines, budgets, and performance outcomes.
- Engage in project management, client interactions, consulting, and delivery leadership across all project phases.
- Provide team direction and feedback and contribute to performance evaluations and hiring.
- Use hands-on technical involvement as needed to ensure successful engineering delivery.
- Package engineering best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership and published assets.
- Travel frequently for client engagements and project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale, highly distributed, cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with at least two modern programming languages, such as Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong software engineering background and the ability to review, guide, and influence implementation quality.
- Deep expertise in software architecture and design principles, including microservices, event-driven systems, serverless, APIs, data architecture, scalability, resiliency, multi-cloud, and security-by-design.
- Experience designing and delivering AI/ML or LLM-based business solutions in production.
- Experience using AI-native tools to accelerate software engineering outcomes.
- Ability to translate client business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with clients, developers, partners, and executives.
- Strong organizational, leadership, consulting, communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience leading diverse teams in dynamic environments and adapting to changing technology landscapes.
- Passion for delivering commercial software products and platforms and maintaining current knowledge of modern software engineering, cloud, and distributed systems.
