Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead debugging, testing, logging, telemetry, verification, and issue resolution across production products.
- Lead incident retrospectives, root-cause analysis, repair actions, and mechanisms to prevent recurrence.
- Drive least-access, privacy, security, secure-design, and formal validation practices across the engineering team.
- Lead product development and scaling efforts to meet customer requirements, performance expectations, and security commitments.
- Lead feature-flag and flighting experiments, interpret results, select ship decisions, and identify customer-value metrics.
- Collaborate with Data Science and product managers to incorporate experiment success and guardrail metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Accepted coding languages include C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter is required.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or a bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
