Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Document system interfaces and APIs using OpenAPI 3.x, comply with enterprise API governance standards, and register APIs in the enterprise catalog.
- Develop conceptual, logical, physical, security, deployment, and integration architecture views using Federal enterprise architecture standards.
- Verify design and technical integrity across program phases and align solutions with Federal standards, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Model integration strategies and data exchanges across financial systems, Federal platforms, and internal applications.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks while guiding development teams and stakeholders.
- Use Model-Based Systems Engineering to produce system architecture, solution design, and security architecture deliverables.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with Federal stakeholders, technical teams, and subcontractor partners.
- Ensure security compliance, performance optimization, and adherence to FedRAMP High, TIC 3.0, Zero Trust, and ATO requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- US citizenship and ability to pass a Tier 2 background investigation.
- At least 10 years of enterprise or solution architecture or technical leadership experience, including at least five years modeling large-scale Federal systems.
- Successful delivery experience with enterprise IT modernization projects involving complex data migration and legacy system integration.
- Extensive experience with architectural and modeling frameworks, standards, and methodologies such as UAF, DoDAF, or TOGAF.
- Proficiency with modeling tools such as CATIA Magic, NoMagic Cameo, or similar tools.
- Mastery of MBSE tools and modeling languages including UML, SysML, and BPMN.
- Preferred experience designing cloud-based Federal acquisition or contract management systems at cabinet or enterprise scale.
- Preferred knowledge of Azure Government, enterprise integration, Federal security compliance, and IT performance management.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Appian or other low-code enterprise solutions and knowledge of FAR/VAAR and contracting processes.
- Preferred expert-level API design and management experience with REST, SOAP, OpenAPI 3.x, and API gateway patterns.
- Preferred experience with FedRAMP High, Zero Trust, NIST 800-53, ATO processes, TIC 3.0, IPv6, VA TRM, data architecture, data migration, master data management, microservices, SOA, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, or Open Group Certified Architect are preferred.
- Experience leading Architecture Review Boards and establishing governance frameworks is preferred.
