Base Salary
$128k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Become a subject matter expert on IonQ’s user-facing quantum computing software, production systems, and ecosystem integrations.
- Answer user questions, troubleshoot incidents, and assist with internal investigations as the primary interface between customers and software and system operations teams.
- Provide technical implementation guidance on platform administration, software integration, workflow orchestration, and related topics.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions for new IonQ system users.
- Collect customer feedback and feature requests, identify technical blockers, and advocate for product improvements.
- Create developer documentation, training materials, feature demonstrations, and other enablement content.
- Support internal tools, metrics, and processes for monitoring customer usage and needs.
- Participate in onsite customer engagements, industry conferences, and other events.
Requirements
- MS in Physics, Computer Science, or a related computationally focused technical field, or graduate-level training or equivalent hands-on experience in a computational or quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles or equivalent, with a proven record of performance and goal achievement.
- Experience in user support, developer relations, solutions engineering, or another technical user-enablement role.
- Hands-on experience with Python and Jupyter Notebook, Google Colab, or similar platforms.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and technical subject matter experts across different technical domains.
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or a related computationally focused technical field is preferred.
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks and SDKs such as Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, or CUDA-Q is preferred.
- Familiarity with quantum information science, applications, and algorithms is preferred.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, REST APIs, and/or HPC systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in data science or data analytics are preferred.
- Experience creating customer-facing content and technical presentations for varied audiences is preferred.
