Base Salary
$146k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales from discovery through deal close to shorten sales cycles and improve closing rates
- Lead discovery meetings, platform demonstrations, and technical Proof of Value engagements for existing and prospective customers
- Translate customer business challenges into appropriate Tanium technical solutions
- Serve as a technical expert throughout sales engagements and align pre-sales and Proof of Value activities with strategic account goals
- Partner with field engineering teams to improve technical effectiveness and customer experience
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and partners
- Participate in and speak at regional marketing events and conferences
- Deliver customer-facing Sales and Channel enablement, including training
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to improve the customer lifecycle
- Travel 40–60% to meet customers and prospects in person
Requirements
- 6+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security
- 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions
- Significant software pre-sales or value-based technical selling experience in very large enterprise environments
- Experience presenting to audiences from C-suite stakeholders to solution users
- Track record of owning complex initiatives and producing successful outcomes
- Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, compliance, and related products
- Hands-on knowledge in endpoint security, IT operations management, or regulatory compliance
- Broad knowledge of scripting languages is a plus
- Strong critical-thinking, written communication, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
