Base Salary
$154k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship interoperable software products and systems supporting customer interactions inside and outside the vehicle.
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performing software systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
- Implement single sign-on and identity, access, and profile-related services for internal and customer users.
- Apply software development standards through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Own team services and ensure 24/7 on-call coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of software development experience focused on backend technologies, with the ability to lead multiple projects.
- Proficiency in one of Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases, including examples such as PostgreSQL, Redis, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with identity management systems and directory services, including examples such as Azure AD, AWS Cognito, LDAP, or Okta.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred: experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Preferred: hands-on experience building on AWS using Go and/or Python.
