Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop database-driven enterprise applications based on business requirements.
- Coordinate development activities among business analysts, developers, and testing teams.
- Perform technical design, estimation, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.
- Develop SQL and PL/SQL programs and database objects including views, materialized views, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Build data pipelines and ETL jobs across multiple data sources.
- Optimize database performance, scalability, storage growth, security, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot database performance and production issues and provide workarounds or escalate to service owners.
- Validate data populated in target containers through unit testing and ensure quality and accuracy.
- Support event-based, micro-batch, and batch processing systems handling high-volume and high-velocity transactions and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 10 years of experience in a relevant database development role.
- Hands-on database development, data modeling, database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting experience.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming experience, including creation of database objects.
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS, AWS services, RDS, PostgreSQL, and Redshift.
- Experience building scalable, resilient, cloud-native architectures and data pipelines for ETL jobs.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud security, including IAM roles and policies, security groups, and encryption keys.
- Experience with GitHub or another code repository and a cloud controller or release management tool.
- Financial services industry experience preferred.
- Ability to keep current with cloud database technologies.
