Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for refactoring, technical debt reduction, and performance improvement.
- Evaluate emerging tools and practices and influence long-term technology strategy.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7+ years of coding experience, database and cloud experience, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, API development, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, mentoring, and leading cross-functional or large-scale engineering initiatives.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, interactive AI productivity tooling, coding standards, design patterns, and distributed-system performance optimization is preferred.
