Responsibilities
- Own portions of frontend development, including collaborating with Product and Designers on UI concepts and implementation.
- Build cohesive customer experiences across the Closinglock ecosystem with other frontend engineers.
- Author reusable, testable code and help establish a maintainable, elegant codebase.
- Collaborate on feature requests, customer feedback, and future product development.
- Promote documentation, collaboration, frontend best practices, and effective use of AI as a coding assistant.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Vue.js experience for the mid-level path or 5+ years for the senior path, preferably including Vue 3 and modern Vue paradigms.
- 3+ years of custom web application development experience for the mid-level path or 5+ years for the senior path.
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals and experience building consumer-facing frontend single-page applications.
- Familiarity with Vue or another modern reactive frontend library, Pinia or an equivalent state management tool, and frontend testing.
- Experience with Vitest, Vue Testing Library, Git, npm, and Vite is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with Product and Design teams, solve problems creatively, work independently, and operate effectively in ambiguity.
- Bonus familiarity with PHP, Laravel, jQuery, or mixed SPA/MPA codebases.
- Demonstrated success modernizing legacy applications with current frontend practices, patterns, and technologies.
