Responsibilities
- Identify and define application system enhancements using application development procedures, script tools, and code analysis.
- Analyze problems and information, evaluate options, and recommend and implement technical solutions.
- Resolve application issues using acquired technical experience and established precedents.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
- Operate with limited direct supervision while exercising independent judgment and autonomy.
- Act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and other team members.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while adhering to applicable laws, policies, and control requirements.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE or applications development.
- Hands-on, in-depth knowledge of Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, SQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, GraphQL, workflow engines, rule engines, Maven, and Git.
- Intermediate-level experience in an applications development role.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular experience is preferred.
