Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and maintain traceability across requirements, designs, and test cases.
- Develop and configure application components using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, standards, and tools.
- Build scalable, maintainable, secure, highly available cloud-native microservices and REST API web services.
- Develop interactive user interfaces, automation scripts, telemetry features, and CI/CD processes.
- Create and execute unit, integration, regression, and other applicable test cases; track and resolve defects.
- Troubleshoot application performance and availability issues and perform corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance.
- Monitor application metrics, logs, and operational data using observability and alerting tools.
- Evaluate change requests and monitor project adherence to approved milestones and timelines.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or bachelor's degree or equivalent in one of these fields plus two years of software engineering or related experience.
- Experience applying SOLID principles and design patterns within cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Experience developing in Java and designing REST API web services using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring JDBC.
- Experience creating interfaces with React.js and Node.js and building cloud-native applications with GCP and Azure.
- Experience using Cosmos DB, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, Prometheus, Grafana, JUnit, and Kafka.
