Base Salary
$105k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build tools that improve engineer productivity and enable self-service.
- Develop unified systems for monitoring, logging, and error handling.
- Improve infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Partner with engineering teams to optimize application performance.
- Research industry best practices and apply them to advance the team.
- Optimize and reduce cloud costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable industry experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer or developer.
- Strong understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of cloud technologies such as EC2, RDS, and S3.
- Experience with or ability to work with scripting languages such as Python or Bash and compiled languages such as Java or Golang.
- Ability to program and automate repetitive work.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, independence, adaptability, and work ethic.
- Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call rotation for systems built.
