Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain high-quality backend software systems.
- Apply architectural patterns and infrastructure best practices while monitoring post-deployment system health.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate in merchant immersions to identify user challenges and opportunities.
- Improve team workflows and engineering processes to increase efficiency and delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous learning within the team.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional programming experience.
- Strong expertise in Python and Go.
- Experience with backend technologies including databases, caching, message queues, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Strong system design skills focused on code quality and scalability.
- Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Git or another version control system.
- Experience with generative AI, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
- Interest in emerging technologies and backend development trends.
