Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of microservices, high-throughput APIs, and scalable, highly available data storage solutions.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks, refactor core infrastructure, and maintain low latency across distributed systems.
- Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical systems from technical design and project scoping through deployment and production maintenance.
- Drive code quality through code reviews, system reliability standards, and mentorship of mid-level and junior engineers.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure, automated CI/CD pipelines, security protocols, incident management, and observability to meet strict SLAs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend or platform engineering experience with high-scale production systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Java, or Kotlin.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, microservices, APIs, data modeling, and eventual consistency.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, caching, and observability.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, Git proficiency, and experience mentoring junior engineers.
- SaaS or e-commerce domain experience is preferred.
