Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and optimize scalable, high-availability full-stack services and Go backend systems.
- Design scalable architectures, manage system performance and capacity, and resolve complex distributed-system issues.
- Own product outcomes end to end, drive cross-functional alignment, and participate in production incident response and on-call rotations.
- Use and validate AI-assisted engineering workflows while auditing generated code for security, correctness, and maintainability.
- Improve engineering standards through design and code reviews, technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and AI-driven initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficiency in Go, or strong expertise in Java, C++, Scala, Rust, Python, Node.js, or C# with willingness to write Go.
- Experience with React and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, large-scale web services, system internals, networking, performance tuning, and scalability.
- Ability to audit AI-generated code for security, correctness, and maintainability.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows such as Copilot and LLM coding tools.
- Proven experience leading AI-driven technical initiatives and raising engineering standards across teams.
