Responsibilities
- Design and implement reliable, performant Rust services and libraries for trading, payments, and crypto experiences.
- Write reusable, testable, efficient code for scalable, revenue-critical systems.
- Contribute to distributed systems architecture and develop resilient, low-latency solutions.
- Debug issues across the OS, network, and application layers.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements and constraints into appropriate system designs.
- Own systems and libraries end to end.
- Mentor engineers and help define the technical culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proficiency writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.
- A security-first approach to system design.
- Understanding of distributed systems, RPC protocols, Kafka, and event-driven systems.
- Ability to work autonomously, collaborate with product teams, and take end-to-end ownership.
- Preferred: experience building B2B products, ideally in fintech or crypto.
