Responsibilities
- Implement and configure ServiceNow HAM and SAM Pro capabilities, including hardware and software asset lifecycle management.
- Develop CMDB data models, class hierarchies, discovery and reconciliation processes, asset audits, stockroom workflows, transfers, disposals, refreshes, retirements, procurement, and receiving workflows.
- Manage software license entitlements, reconciliation, normalization, publisher catalogs, reclamation, end-of-life tracking, compliance reporting, content libraries, unrecognized software, subscriptions, and spend optimization.
- Develop ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, Glide scripting, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, Scheduled Jobs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Performance Analytics, and ATF.
- Build Service Portal experiences and integrate ITAM with procurement systems, Service Graph Connectors, Discovery, Agent Client Collector, Jamf, and SaaS-based publisher platforms.
- Align and implement ITAM solutions with CSDM and maintain CMDB health, governance, reporting, and compliance position visibility.
- Present license compliance positions to stakeholders and collaborate effectively across culturally diverse teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in ITAM HAM/SAM modules.
- Mandatory ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
- Completed bachelor's and master's degrees.
- Strong expertise in Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, SAM Pro, CMDB, CSDM, asset lifecycle management, discovery and reconciliation, and license compliance.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Service Portal development, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and AJAX.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, Service Graph Connectors, Discovery, procurement-system integrations, and at least one JavaScript framework such as AngularJS or React.
- Experience with ServiceNow development components including Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Business Rules, Scheduled Jobs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Performance Analytics, and ATF.
- Strong analytical, communication, consulting, presentation, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- ServiceNow CIS-ITAM certification is preferred.
