Base Salary
$85k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own testing infrastructure and test coverage for two active C++ development projects.
- Contribute to feature development for systems-level endpoint state and control software.
- Define and enforce endpoint behavior across managed environments.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of C++ experience.
- Strong C++ fundamentals, including memory management, RAII, STL, smart pointers, and build systems, preferably CMake.
- Interest in systems-level software involving OS APIs, processes, file systems, and services.
- Experience writing or maintaining automated tests in C++, such as Google Test, Catch2, or CTest.
- Ability to learn new systems, APIs, and patterns through documentation, code reading, and mentorship.
- Preferred: Windows systems programming exposure, including Windows APIs, WINAPI, WinBase, Registry access, and process management.
- Preferred: Familiarity with CMake and vcpkg build environments, mocking or dependency-injection test frameworks, cross-platform C++, security software, and structured CI test pipelines.
- Comfort adapting workflows to incorporate AI tools.
