Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end performance testing and performance engineering activities across enterprise applications.
- Design realistic workload models, complex performance scenarios, test plans, and automated performance scripts.
- Execute performance tests, troubleshoot issues, analyze bottlenecks, and recommend performance tuning and scalability improvements.
- Configure monitoring profiles and dashboards using performance metrics from application and infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Analyze test results against SLAs and publish performance analysis reports for stakeholder review.
- Identify test environment, test data, and access requirements.
- Collaborate with business, development, architecture, infrastructure, and QA teams on performance strategies and key decisions.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, support team decisions, facilitate knowledge sharing, and monitor project progress.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of total experience is required.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Micro Focus LoadRunner is required.
- Proficiency with OpenText/Micro Focus LoadRunner, LRE, and JMeter.
- Experience designing complex performance scenarios representing real-world user patterns.
- Proficiency with Web HTTP/HTML, Web Services, TruClient, Citrix, SAP-GUI, Kafka, and MQ protocols.
- Knowledge of performance engineering methodologies, monitoring tools, JVM concepts, SQL queries, application architecture, and performance requirements.
- Experience creating scripts, test plans, monitoring profiles, executing tests, troubleshooting, tuning performance, and interpreting test results.
- Experience with MAWM/Manhattan Warehouse Management application is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of full-time education is required.
