Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Java for iterative product improvements.
- Execute software solutions across design, development, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain application algorithms.
- Contribute to architecture and design artifacts while ensuring implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to improve software applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Support production issues and contribute to software engineering communities of practice.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating their outputs.
- Guide responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including secure handling of data and outputs.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, React, and enterprise software development.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Experience supporting production issues.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
- Experience with Agile delivery practices, CI/CD, and DevOps-aligned development practices.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred: familiarity with Kafka and exposure to AWS.
