Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions and production code.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets, create visualizations and reports, and use insights to improve coding practices and system architecture.
- Apply software development lifecycle knowledge and contribute to application resiliency, security, and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining Java code in a large corporate environment.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern frontend and backend technologies and exposure to AWS.
