Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate software solutions aligned with business needs.
- Analyze system requirements and customize applications for optimal functionality.
- Assist with software updates and software release roll-outs.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to verify software meets technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in software applications and systems.
- Use market research and industry trends to inform project strategies and product offerings.
- Train operational staff to use internally developed applications.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters and maintain punctual attendance.
- Work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Comcast may consider a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience in place of the stated degree.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to design, develop, customize, troubleshoot, and support software applications.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and Quality Assurance.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
