Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software for high-volume e-commerce and online retail services.
- Design secure, performant systems and technical solutions using frontend, backend, microservices, API, identity, and cloud technologies.
- Plan go-live strategies and evaluate the pros and cons of multiple implementation options.
- Work within a continuous integration and deployment process in a DevOps-oriented product development environment.
Requirements
- Reside in Latin America and have advanced English skills.
- Have 8+ years of software development experience with high-volume e-commerce or online retail services, including 5 years focused on frontend and integration technologies.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Node.js-based technologies and/or Java, microservices, and integration technologies such as Kafka.
- Have exposure to API management with Apigee or MuleSoft and identity and access management technologies such as Ping Federate, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Have experience running workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP and using container technologies such as Docker and Cloud Foundry.
- Have experience with continuous integration and deployment in a DevOps-oriented product development environment and familiarity with Splunk, New Relic, and PagerDuty.
- Understand system and technical design principles and performant coding practices that preserve security requirements.
- Have experience developing conceptual go-live plans and analyzing tradeoffs among multiple options.
- Experience with content management systems and/or personalization systems is a major plus.
