Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software solutions, frameworks, and automations for system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions focused on stability and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering knowledge sharing.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and production problems using DevOps/SRE practices.
- Operate mobile applications in production, including crash and ANR triage, release management, and support for multiple live app versions.
- Define and analyze mobile SLIs and SLOs across app versions, operating systems, device models, and markets.
- Mitigate production issues through remote configuration, feature flags, kill switches, and server-side fixes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, maintenance and operations, and/or software development.
- Strong experience working in eCommerce.
- Hands-on experience with Firebase, including Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Remote Config, and in-app messaging.
- Experience managing mobile releases through App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
- Knowledge of Apple and Google release processes, including review guidelines, approval flows, phased rollouts, app signing, certificates, APNs key management, annual operating-system releases, and target API-level deadlines.
- Experience supporting multiple mobile app versions with backward-compatible APIs and minimum-supported-version strategies.
- Experience defining mobile reliability metrics such as crash-free users and sessions, ANR rate, app start time, and client-side API error and latency rates.
- Experience with solutions architecture and rapidly identifying the causes of production issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, participate in code reviews, and provide guidance to junior engineers.
