Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations.
- Build Service Cloud capabilities including case routing, Omni-Channel, Knowledge, Service Console, automation, and CTI integrations.
- Build and customize Experience Cloud portals, self-service experiences, and community components.
- Prototype and implement Salesforce AI enhancements using Agentforce, Einstein, Prompt Builder, and related features.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, administrators, DevOps, release management, and third-party vendors.
- Write specifications, conduct code reviews, follow Salesforce governance and release processes, and complete unit testing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, resolve bugs, and support Level 2/3 escalations.
- Participate in on-call or escalation rotations and keep current with Salesforce platform and AI releases.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including hands-on Salesforce development.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II, Service Cloud Consultant, or Experience Cloud Consultant certification is preferred.
- Proficiency with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce data modeling, sharing rules, large data volume considerations, and multi-org integrations.
- Experience with JavaScript, Lightning Web Components, Aura, HTML, XML, SQL, and Salesforce development; familiarity with Java/J2EE, C/C++, and .NET is a plus.
- Experience with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Salesforce storage, Big Objects, and archiving strategies.
- Hands-on experience configuring Service Cloud and building Experience Cloud sites, including LWR/Aura templates, community components, guest-user security, and self-service portals.
- Working knowledge of Agentforce agents, Einstein Bots, Prompt Builder, Einstein Case Classification, Reply Recommendations, and responsible generative AI integration.
- Familiarity with Salesforce release governance, sandboxes, change sets, CI/CD, Copado, Gearset, SFDX, Apex unit testing, Jest, and scratch orgs.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and ability to communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
