Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex cloud-native software solutions using AWS, Python, Java, and modern development practices.
- Architect and integrate AI-driven features using LLMs, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks.
- Build frameworks and libraries that accelerate engineering transformation across the organization.
- Drive CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation for reliable, high-velocity delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, customers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Mentor engineers, enforce engineering best practices, conduct code reviews, and provide technical leadership.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systems.
- Maintain technical documentation for architecture and design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 12+ years of software development experience, including leadership roles.
- Proven expertise with AWS cloud technologies, including EKS, ECS, and managed services.
- Strong Python and Java skills, with familiarity with Perl and exposure to Go or similar modern languages.
- Deep expertise in SMTP, POP, IMAP, TLS, DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and related security standards.
- Familiarity with anti-spam, anti-phishing, malware filtering, encryption, and secure email gateways.
- Strong background in CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code.
- Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Unix, CentOS, and related operating system environments.
