Responsibilities
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams on automation, AI technologies, and enterprise integration practices.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain intelligent automation solutions, AI-powered applications, and workflows.
- Implement and optimize automation platforms, APIs, enterprise integrations, and reusable software components.
- Develop automated testing, validation, and evaluation frameworks for solution reliability, accuracy, and performance.
- Establish engineering standards, coding practices, governance, security, and responsible AI principles.
- Monitor and improve the performance, scalability, reliability, adoption, and business impact of applications and workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, data scientists, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver and adopt software solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 9+ years of experience in application design, software development, automated testing, and software lifecycle management.
- Experience developing with Java and/or Python and working with distributed systems, algorithms, APIs, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, data structures, design patterns, application architecture, automation frameworks, workflow orchestration, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience implementing automation solutions, integrating services through REST APIs and messaging technologies, and deploying and monitoring applications in cloud environments.
- Experience with AI technologies including LLMs, AI-powered development tools, intelligent automation, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, functional, performance, and regression testing and related documentation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, application monitoring, security, governance, risk, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, iterative development, and user stories.
