Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve automation frameworks and build reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Develop test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, technical specifications, and automation solutions.
- Track test coverage, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, deployment risks, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, testing, business, customer, and internal stakeholder teams.
- Create acceptance criteria and automation backlogs for user stories.
- Develop strategies, processes, and tools to support continuous deployment practices.
- Perform backend and database programming for key projects when needed.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, project outcomes, and mitigation techniques according to Wipro standards.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in tools development and software engineering.
- Experience designing and implementing automated testing tools and software validation processes.
- Ability to develop functional, regression, performance, and non-functional test automation.
- Ability to analyze complex technical designs and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to perform backend and database programming for key projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with testers, users, developers, clients, and business subject matter experts.
- Knowledge of software development standards, accepted design patterns, and industry practices.
