Responsibilities
- Design, customize, extend, and deliver Dynamics 365 CRM and Dataverse solutions across multiple Dynamics 365 applications.
- Design entities/tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, dashboards, business process flows, workflows, security roles, teams, business units, and field-level security.
- Develop plugins, custom workflow activities, server-side extensions, JavaScript/TypeScript customizations, ribbon or command bar logic, and PCF controls.
- Build and support integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems using Web API/OData, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, MuleSoft, SSIS, and KingswaySoft.
- Own technical solutioning, estimates, architecture guidance, integration patterns, performance strategy, and design documentation.
- Implement testing strategies, conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and maintain reliable implementations.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving plugin trace logs, platform logs, integration failures, and performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor and coach engineers and contribute reusable patterns, components, documentation, and team maturity.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and Support to translate business needs into technical deliverables.
Requirements
- Requires 5–8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years implementing Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse, or Power Platform solutions.
- Requires strong hands-on C#/.NET development experience for Dynamics 365 plugins, workflow activities, and Azure components.
- Requires solid experience customizing Dynamics 365 forms, views, business process flows, security models, and solution layering.
- Requires strong experience with Dataverse Web API, custom actions, and building or consuming APIs.
- Requires proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for client-side customizations and command bar logic.
- Requires experience with Power Automate flows, approvals, connectors, error handling, Power Apps model-driven app behavior, governance, and environment and solution management.
