Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, architecture, application and database design, development, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
- Design resilient, scalable, secure solutions and guide technology and design-pattern decisions.
- Build AI-infused applications, intelligent agents, Copilot features, plugins, skills, and MCP servers.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback while promoting collaboration and inclusion.
- Collaborate with product teams, program managers, UX designers, data scientists, and other engineering groups.
- Support and maintain existing services and integrations with enterprise line-of-business applications.
- Establish coding, testing, documentation, performance, and service-reliability practices.
- Identify automation, process-optimization, and technical-innovation opportunities.
- Participate in planning, provide cost estimates, and communicate deliverables, risks, and milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience building commercial software and successfully shipping software products and services.
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience with cloud development principles, loosely coupled architectures, microservices, and DevOps practices.
- Preferred: 5+ years leading, managing, and driving technical and architectural dependencies.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or equivalent languages and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience developing applications with AI technologies, ASP.NET, Azure PaaS services, SQL, NoSQL, and related integration services.
- Experience building applications and intelligent agents using Azure AI technologies, including Azure AI Foundry, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience with AI/ML concepts and integrating them into agent workflows.
- Experience with Git, automated build systems, software validation systems, project tracking, and lifecycle management systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, and front-end frameworks such as React.
- Experience working in agile or startup environments with strong customer focus.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary and matrixed teams and translate customer scenarios into product or solution requirements.
- Practical experience building analytical applications using data science models and applied AI is preferred.
