Base Salary
$89k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing software across the full technology stack.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications, including APIs, contracts, schemas, workflows, and data models.
- Own end-to-end delivery of features or services and align implementations with architectural standards and acceptance criteria.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests while ensuring code quality and performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify risks, dependencies, and deviations early.
- Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and engineering productivity, while validating generated outputs for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, and Engineering teams on design, delivery, and technical decisions.
- Contribute to coding standards and engineering best practices, mentor junior engineers, and participate in rotational on-call duties when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 4+ years of experience in a related field, or a master's degree and 2+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience, or 18+ years of directly relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and data models.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with spec-driven or contract-first development and the ability to define clear technical specifications.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and safely validating and refining AI-generated outputs.
- Preferred: experience building large-scale or mission-critical systems; familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures; experience integrating AI capabilities through LLM APIs, search, or recommendations; and strong debugging and performance-tuning skills.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule and availability for rotational on-call duties outside standard business hours.
