Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing software systems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications covering APIs, contracts, workflows, and data models.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of features and services while aligning implementation with architecture and acceptance criteria.
  • Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and resolve production issues.
  • Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and engineering workflow improvement.
  • Drive spec-driven and contract-first development across engineering, product, and QA.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, and Engineering teams on design and technical decisions.
  • Contribute to coding standards and best practices and mentor junior engineers through reviews and guidance.
  • Participate in rotational on-call duties outside standard business hours when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 4+ years of related experience, or a master’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience, or 18+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and distributed systems.
  • Understanding of system design, APIs, and data models.
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with spec-driven or contract-first development and defining technical specifications.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools and validating AI-generated outputs safely.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with large-scale or mission-critical systems, microservices and event-driven architectures, AI integrations such as LLM APIs, search, or recommendations, workflow automation, debugging, and performance tuning.
