Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and lead delivery of systems for scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
- Provide solutions to strategic technical problems and influence the organization.
- Represent the team in technical discussions across the organization.
- Identify opportunities in existing products and design solutions.
- Advocate for iterative improvements to code and culture.
- Think strategically about the technical direction of the software.
- Anticipate system adaptations for growth needs.
- Craft and articulate technical strategy via design documents.
- Guide teams in implementing cross-functional systems.
- Enable collaborative discussions utilizing technical knowledge.
- Mentor and provide feedback to engineers.
- Lead by example as an active team member.
- Partner with senior leaders to build and execute projects.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Significant software engineering experience with a focus on backend and distributed systems.
- Expertise in modern programming languages, primarily Golang.
- Track record of pragmatic solutions to ship features on-time.
- Experience building efficient software at scale.
- Proven experience with internet-facing systems.
- Hands-on technical leadership in building scalable software.
- Customer-driven approach to design and implementation.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
