Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end AI and non-AI software architectures with emphasis on generative AI and agentic systems.
- Integrate foundation models, multimodal models, RAG pipelines, databases, APIs, MCPs, backend services, and user interfaces.
- Design scalable AWS and multicloud deployments using containerization, orchestration, serverless services, and infrastructure as code.
- Define model-serving pipelines, agentic workflows, observability, monitoring, logging, security, compliance, and data governance patterns.
- Design data pipelines for structured and unstructured data and integrate identity management and authentication.
- Conduct code reviews and remain hands-on in implementation alongside AI and software engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership in architecture reviews, solution validation, stakeholder consultation, and technical mentoring.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, including at least 3 years in AI-related projects.
- Proven experience designing and deploying large-scale, cloud-based AI and non-AI systems and using AI coding agents for full-stack development.
- Deep knowledge of ML algorithms, model training and evaluation, foundation model integration, RAG, and agentic system design.
- Expertise with AWS, multicloud services, serverless computing, Terraform, and infrastructure supporting AI workloads.
- Strong architectural knowledge of vector databases, AWS OpenSearch, Azure AI Search, Snowflake, SQL, NoSQL, event-driven architectures, and graph architectures.
- Advanced Python proficiency, strong backend development experience, and command of modern frontend ecosystems.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure as code, microservices, MLOps, secure and highly available systems, and software compliance.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers, communicating designs to technical and senior non-technical stakeholders, and working in regulated industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with TypeScript is advantageous.
- Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent.
- English proficiency at C1+ level and willingness to work in a fluid, multidisciplinary environment.
