Base Salary
$149k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve internal developer platforms supporting software development across Abnormal AI.
- Own high-leverage projects across CLI tooling, CI/CD, shared libraries, and test infrastructure.
- Build and maintain developer workflows using Python, Go, Bazel, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI systems.
- Create AI-native abstractions and workflows consumable by human engineers and AI agents.
- Collaborate with product engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Security, and other partner teams on multi-quarter initiatives.
Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience as a software engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiently leverage AI tools across discovery, design, implementation, and software rollout.
- Have experience or strong interest in using LLMs to improve developer workflows.
- Preferred experience includes CLI tools, scaffolding systems, internal frameworks, test data management, integration or end-to-end test infrastructure, and bad-test detection.
- Preferred hands-on experience includes YAML/Jinja2-style templating, modern Python typing, pytest or Ginkgo, shared library and service development using gRPC or HTTP, and reusable workflows.
Benefits
- Base salary is listed at $149,200–$214,500 USD, with potential eligibility for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
- The role is an individual-contributor position with ownership of multi-quarter initiatives.
