Base Salary

$130k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement secure end-to-end Kubernetes- or Docker-based cluster and application lifecycles.
  • Architect containerized solutions and cloud-native applications with clients and internal teams.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based deployment automation.
  • Apply DevSecOps practices and implement cloud-based security architecture and secure network configurations.
  • Manage logs and use analytics tools for system monitoring and optimization.
  • Leverage AWS and other cloud platforms to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Assist with service-mesh solutions such as Istio for secure service-to-service communication.
  • Use GitLab, Ansible, Maven, and Gradle for version control, automation, and software development.
  • Maintain infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code practices.
  • Prepare architectural diagrams for ATO packages and enforce RBAC and ABAC policies at the data level.
  • Design and implement security solutions and perform regular penetration testing.
  • Stay current with cloud technologies, industry practices, and evolving security threats.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Experience with AWS and cloud technologies, networking, CI/CD pipelines, log management, and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Experience or knowledge of service mesh, such as Istio.
  • Proficiency with AWS Cloud Services, GitLab, Ansible, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code and unit/integration testing.
  • Experience preparing architectural diagrams for ATO packages and enforcing RBAC and ABAC policies at the data level.
  • Knowledge of RKE2, Apache, Kafka, HDFS, and other applications.
  • Experience designing, engineering, and implementing security solutions and conducting penetration testing.
  • Highly preferred: custom Helm chart development, basic big-data experience, multilingual programming ability, and Python or Go knowledge.
  • An active clearance or higher is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, and all work must be conducted within the continental U.S.
