Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve internal developer platforms supporting software development across Abnormal AI.
- Own multi-quarter projects involving CLI tooling, CI/CD, shared libraries, and test infrastructure.
- Work across Python, Go, Bazel, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI systems to improve development speed, reliability, and usability.
- Design AI-native abstractions and workflows consumable by human engineers and AI agents.
- Collaborate with product engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Security, and other partner teams.
Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience as a software engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiently leverage AI tools for discovery, design, implementation, and rollout of software systems.
- Have experience or strong interest in using LLMs to improve developer workflows.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Python, Golang, Bazel, AWS, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Preferred experience includes building CLI tools, scaffolding systems, internal frameworks, test data infrastructure, integration or end-to-end testing, and bad-test detection.
- Preferred hands-on experience includes YAML/Jinja2-style templating, Python typing and dataclasses or attrs, Pydantic-style patterns, pytest or Ginkgo, gRPC or HTTP services, shared libraries, and reusable workflows.
