Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Playwright and Karate.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated and manual functional test cases for business requirements, system behavior, and end-to-end workflows.
- Perform REST and SOAP API testing using Karate, Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured, including validation of payloads, status codes, headers, and error handling.
- Analyze requirements, API specifications, and technical designs to define test scenarios and coverage.
- Drive automation strategy, best practices, quality standards, and adoption across project teams.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Lead regression, integration, and release testing and provide execution reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments.
- Mentor team members and promote automation excellence across distributed teams.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of quality engineering experience focused on test automation, functional testing, and API testing.
- Hands-on expertise developing and maintaining Playwright and Karate automation frameworks from the ground up.
- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, API validation, service virtualization, and integration testing.
- Experience with Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, and Karate Framework.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript for automation development.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, defect management, and software quality assurance practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
