Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide SAP engineering initiatives by defining strategy, evaluating options, and delivering scalable solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP Real Estate, S/4HANA RE-FX, CLREM, lease management, and related compliance processes.
- Design and architect SAP workflows, data flows, APIs, BAPIs, reports, integrations, and end-to-end business solutions.
- Configure, test, debug, document, and support SAP functionality, integrations, reports, and embedded IT controls.
- Lead synchronous, asynchronous, real-time, messaging, event-based, REST API, ETL, and ELT integration delivery.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications and integrated real estate processes.
- Lead testing strategy, configuration reviews, design reviews, and quality and delivery execution.
- Mentor engineers and functional teams on SAP modules, integration patterns, testing, configuration, and data practices.
- Engage senior leaders, architects, vendors, and technical experts to resolve platform and integration challenges.
- Develop documentation, training, enablement materials, and knowledge transfer for end users and support teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of specialty software engineering experience or equivalent experience through work, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years of technology delivery and relationship management experience with business units in a large corporate environment.
- At least 5 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience with S/4HANA digital core modules.
- At least 5 years of hands-on S/4HANA data integration experience across synchronous, asynchronous, streaming, messaging, event-based, REST API, ETL, and ELT solutions.
- Deep SAP S/4HANA RE-FX and CLREM expertise across ECC and S/4 environments, including real estate management implementation and support.
- Strong functional SAP experience with EPPM, FICO, GL, AA, COPA, Project Systems, MM, CLREM, and REFX.
- Experience with lease accounting, asset management, subledger and balance sheet processes, and FASB 842 and IFRS 16 compliance.
- Experience in financial services and commercial real estate technology, including lease management, capital planning, transaction management, and real estate accounting or valuation.
- Experience with BTP, Fiori, Workflow, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Data Cloud, RISE, GRC, MDG, and ARIBA integrations.
- Experience with enterprise data, canonical data models, APIs, microservices, service-to-service communication, Databricks, and data lakes.
- Strong consulting, leadership, communication, stakeholder influence, and technical-to-business translation skills.
